LEICESTER mascot Seth Norman turns 15 today (Thursday) - and he will immediately go into official competition at 500cc level!
The club are pleased to announce that Seth will be guesting for the Lion Cubs in our final WSRA NDL fixture of the season against Belle Vue on Sunday (2pm).
Norman will come in at reserve because Calum Mitchell is again unavailable due to family reasons, whilst Luke Harris stands in for the injured Max James.
He will then return to 250cc machinery in the second half of the meeting to take his place in the British Youth Championship.
Manager Jen Crossland said: "There will be absolutely no pressure on Seth, we just want him to go out and enjoy the meeting and take the experience from it.
"I'm sure our supporters will be delighted to see another young rider who they've regularly seen on track before meetings in recent years get the opportunity."
Norman has no time for birthday celebrations on Thursday as he is also in the line-up for the Tiger's Academy Open at Ipswich which features several of the UK's top rising stars.
